Opening May 16 through June 13, Blum & Poe will present Dave Muller in his solo Los Angeles debut. As an artist and proprietor of the roving project space Three Day Weekend, Muller is interested in the boundaries between artistic production and exhibition.
The exhibition will ruminate on the Los Angeles scene, past, present and future through the use of watercolors and objects. Muller’s drawings resemble posters for exhibitions of other artists and other related ephemera. In using this method, he explores the confluence of artistic identities and their intersection with his own interests.
Muller has recently presented Three Day Weekends in Vienna, Stockholm, London, Tokyo and, of course, Los Angeles.
